HOW IT WORKS
From “one day”
to your next trip.
Bring the ideas and bookings you already have. Build a plan around them, keep it useful on the road, and make something to remember afterwards.
Backpack Troops is in invite-only early access. Sign in with an admitted account to use the app. AI actions show their credit cost before you start.
1. Save what catches your eye
Start with a city, a must-see place or a list of travel ideas. Paste supported public links or your own notes, then review the matched places. Keep the correct venue and location before adding it to a day.
Read the saved-places guide →2. Put your commitments in place
Add trip dates, destinations and confirmed bookings. Import a document or forward a confirmation to the trip’s email address, then check each date, traveller and travel leg against the original.
Organise bookings and tickets →3. Shape an itinerary you can change
Choose your pace and must-dos. Review the displayed credit cost before generating a first walking day or a longer itinerary. Check suggested timings and opening hours, edit the draft and keep the plan that works for you.
Build an editable itinerary →4. Keep the group on the same page
Invite trip members and agree on a plan. Share selected days through a view-only snapshot when someone only needs the itinerary. Record shared expenses and download an offline pack before travelling without connectivity.
Understand group planning and sharing →5. Keep the feeling
Write a private note during the trip. Turn a photo into a postcard or gather 1–24 photos in a book with captions and city stops. Export a keepsake: photo memories remain in the current device or browser library and are not automatically backed up by signing in.
